The Board of Directors of Hospice Huronia is proud to announce the appointment of Stacey Cooper as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.
Stacey brings a strong record of compassionate leadership, deep community roots, and a longstanding commitment to Hospice Huronia’s mission. She has served the organization in multiple leadership roles, including as a former Board member, Director of Operations and Community Programs, and most recently as Interim Executive Director. These experiences give her both governance insight and hands-on operational understanding.
Over the past year, Stacey has played a key role in strengthening community partnerships, supporting staff and volunteers, and advancing resident care and community programming.
“Stacey has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to Hospice Huronia’s values and vision,” said Brian Scott, Chair of the Board of Directors. “Her ability to build trust, inspire teams, and lead with both heart and accountability made this a unanimous decision. The Board has full confidence in her leadership as Hospice Huronia moves into its next chapter.”
“I am deeply honoured and grateful for the Board’s trust,” said Stacey Cooper. “Hospice Huronia holds a special place in our community. I am proud of the compassion, professionalism, and commitment our staff and volunteers bring to this work every day, and I look forward to continuing to serve residents, families, donors, and our broader community.
