Five Hospice volunteers received the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards Monday night ( April 23.18) at a lovely ceremony at Hawk Ridge Golf Course in Orillia.

Patricia Henderson received her 10 year pin
Fran Hill her 15 year pin
Diane Morris her 20 year pin

Also recognized were Pauline and Liliane Marchildon who both received their 10 year pins but were unable to attend the ceremony.

When they added up all the volunteer hours represented last night, it was well over 700 hours of individuals serving their community. How fortunate Hospice Huronia is.

This past year, our volunteers gave over 5667 hours serving individuals and families living with progressive life-limiting illness. Truly amazing. Thank you all.
