On Wednesday March 28th at St. Paul�s United Church, Hospice Huronia held a lively discussion on Advanced Care Planning, led by Janna Sharp. This was followed by some stories about creative life celebrations and Dave Macdonald from Nichols Funeral Home joined us to answer specific questions about their services and explain how both traditional and non traditional requests can be accommodated..
One of the questions that came out of the discussion on Advanced Care Planning was:
"If I don�t want any cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) because I have preconditions that make prolonging my life with extraordinary means unwanted, how can ensure my wish will be honoured by the paramedics attending with an ambulance or when I get to the hospital?�
