THE SCHEDULE: Come and check in, anytime from 9:30 am onward. We will be having an official Welcome and Memorial Ceremony at 10:30am at the large pavilion and then the Hike will begin. If you can't be there at that time, you can show up, register and Hike anytime until 1pm. We'll be there!
If you are hanging around the pavilion, there are activities to keep you busy ... Cornhole boards, music, a photo spot and more!
PARKING: Parking is limited in Little Lake Park but there is parking in the Rec Centre's parking lot, so we've organized a HORSE-DRAWN WAGON as a SHUTTLE, leaving from the corner parking lot at the Rec Centre (near the Cenotaph). Pick up and Drop off services from 9:30 am - 1pm. It takes about 15-20 minutes round trip from the parking lot to the large pavilion and back, so if you get to the parking lot, want to go on the shuttle and its not there, be patient, it will be back to pick you up!
FIRST AID: Our volunteers will be along the trail and have a radio. If you've hurt yourself, reach out to them and they will call the CERT first aider to assist you. The CERT first aider will be located at the large pavilion.
REFRESHMENTS: We will have refreshments available for you when you return from your Hike. Many thanks to the Elmvale Lions Club for providing and BBQing the peameal bacon on a bun!
